Shipping and delivery
All orders are shipped from the UK via one of our courier services companies using an Express service.
After you place an order on VogaCloset.com, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order and are processing it. To keep you informed about the progress of your order, we will send further email notifications as we dispatch your goods, which will include your order unique tracking number. You can track the progress of your order by signing into your account or clicking on the on the tracking link sent in the email(s). We aim to deliver your order in as few packages as possible. However, please note that in some cases your items may be delivered separately.
Our courier service companies deliver directly to your doorstep during regular working hours/days in your country. Alternatively, you can pick up your order from your delegated local courier office; make sure that you have your tracking number on hand.
In most cases one of our courier services companies will call you to arrange for delivery; however, if you are not available at the time of delivery, a card will be left for you. This will have a date by which you need to collect your package or arrange a re-delivery.
We charge a flat shipping rate of 7.76 JOD per order on all orders regardless of the number of items you buy.
This delivery fee is to cover domestic delivery and service charges only. Vogacloset will cover all international transport & clearance fees from our warehouse in the UK to your country.
Customs VAT Duties
According to the new regulation set by the Jordan Customs Authority, the following is an important update that will affect your personal shipments going forward, effective Thursday 22nd of August 2019.
As per the announcement, the previous regulation number (13924) on the exemption of postal parcels (for personal use) has been revoked, and the new regulation is to take effect with the following rules:
- Shipments valued under 50 JOD will be subject to 5 JOD customs service fees, If the national ID is not provided, 15 JOD fees will be incurred.
- Shipments valued between 51 and 100 JOD will be subject to 10 JOD customs service fees, If the national ID is not provided, 25 JD fees will be incurred.
- The maximum allowed annual orders’ amount per person must not exceed 500 JOD which is only applicable on exempted items, any amount exceeding the allowed value is subject to customs duties and taxes as per applicable laws.
- Shipments with a value between 100 and 1000 JOD will be calculated by Vogacloset at checkout with a fully landed cost.
What should you do?
Upon placing your order, you will be directed to a screen where you can upload your ID number. Don't worry if you do not have this to hand as we will send you an email with the link for you to add it at your convenience. You should ensure this information is added within one day of order placement to avoid penalties from customs.
Please note you do need to provide your ID number as we will not compensate any penalty fees for undeclared shipments.
