Having great skin doesn’t come easily to many of us, but that’s no reason to give up! Start with these 5 simple, but crucial habits, to achieve glowing skin you’ve always wanted.

 

1- Beauty Sleep

We’re pretty sure you’ve heard this about a million times, but we want to be the millionth and one: a good night’s sleep is not a luxury, it’s a necessity - around 8 hours of it, to be exact. Beauty sleep is realer than any reality TV show out there, it is an essential part of the repair process of the body, and leaves you waking up with a natural glow.

 

2- H2O Overdose

A tip that people with great skin commonly share? Drink your water - at least two liters! But why, you ask? The reasons are endless, but we’ve got some time to share a few: 

  • Restores the skin’s natural radiance
  • Prevents premature aging
  • Reduces puffiness
  • Prevents acne
  • Revives the skin’s elasticity

 

3- A Healthy Diet

Maintaining a healthy, balanced diet is paramount to your overall health; it also does wonders for your skin! Have you ever heard the phrase ‘You are what you eat.’? Well it’s true. If you want great skin that glows ultra bright, then try to incorporate antioxidant-rich foods such as tomatoes, oranges, and berries, etc. Oh and lay off the sugar!

 

4- Cleanse, Scrub, Moisturize, Repeat

Days when you’re so tired that you can’t bring yourself to get up and go through every single skin care step is inevitable (we totally get that), but hear us when we say this: you can’t skip cleansing and moisturizing!
