Stripe Viscose Linen Midi Dress

The shirt-style pointed collar and button-through placket give the bodice a sharp, tailored reference - the skirt then breaks away into wide, panelled godets that flare with every stride. A defined horizontal seam sits just below the bust, separating the fitted upper body from the sweeping midi skirt - a structural detail that draws the eye to the waist without any additional hardware. Long sleeves with buttoned cuffs run to the wrist, keeping the silhouette considered and polished from shoulder to hem. The viscose-lyocell blend delivers a soft drape and cool handfeel that skims rather than clings - the fabric moves with the body and resists stiffness throughout the day. At approximately 132cm in length, the midi hem falls well below the knee, striking a balance between formality and ease of movement. The cut here does something clever: it borrows the discipline of a shirtdress at the top and the movement of an evening gown at the bottom. The fitted bodice and structured collar keep it composed, while the godets in the skirt open up with a quiet drama as you walk. It sits close through the torso without pulling, and the hem swings just enough to feel intentional rather than fussy. This is a dress that works hardest at occasions where the setting demands something considered - a client lunch, a gallery opening, a summer wedding as a guest. The stripe runs vertically through the skirt panels, elongating the leg line naturally. Style it as the model does, with strappy heeled sandals that let the hem take centre stage. A structured top-handle bag and minimal jewellery complete the look without competing with the print.
